  1. Use the wall plate to mark the drill holes for the cable and screws. Use a level to check that the wall plate is straight. Remember that the doorbell wires must pass through the bottom of the hole in the Hello wall plate
  2. .Drill a hole all the way through the wall for the power cord. Use an 11/32 in. (9 mm) drill bit long enough to run it all the way through the wall. Always know where the plumbing and electrical wires are in the wall before drilling.
  3. Drill pilot holes for the screws using a 3/32-inch (2 mm) drill bit. Use the supplied masonry drill bit and masonry anchor if you want to drill into stone, concrete, or other hard materials.
  4. Install the wall plate with the screws. Ensure that the wall plate is right side up and the horizontal screw hole is at the bottom.
  5. Mount the wall plate with the screws.

6. Pass the power cable through the wall
